Paristan a word often used in folk tales of many regions of South and Central Asia would mean a Utopian state. But Internet displaces meaning and language through unique and funny ways. This installation gathers data from Internet which are the words synonymous to Paristan. The seven LCD screens are organized in the hierarchy of a pyramid in which the apex is the word Paristan and other screens locate and display synonyms of Paristan searched over Internet. Paristan then becomes a rhizome affirming all traces and alternate meanings associated or buried with it over the period of the search over Internet.
